March 11: Even though we might get rain I watered the garden. They
were so dry from the high winds we have had.

Two of the four pecan trees we transplanted in December 2007 are
budding. These trees were 6-7 inches in diameter when transplanted
and so far have survived a hard drought. Note: A good watering system
has been installed using drip hoses.

March 12: Applied "Metrical Grow" to tomato plants at a rate of 1
Tbs per gallon of water. Apply to leaves as well as roots. About 1
gallon per plant.

Will apply this every 1 or 2 weeks until tomatoes have set.

Cucumbers have germinated and are breaking ground.

March 18: Beans and squash have germinated and are breaking ground.
We have had 2 inches of rain the past week, so I did not have to apply
any water this past week.
