The Garden Sprouts

We received a couple days of light rain, but colder temps last week.  Temps stayed in the 50s.  This weekend we have sunny and 70s so I went out to my garden where I can see the beans starting to sprout, my mesculan is about 1/4 inch high and my seedlings are making new leaves.

Planting Beans, Beets, Carrots, and Onions - Rain

Yesterday right before a thunderstorm I planted Green and Yellow Beans, Carrots,  Onions, Beets, and the rest of my Marigold, Parsley, and Basil seedlings.    We received 2 inches of rain in sporadic rain showers from night before last through yesterday evening.

Planting day at the Community Garden

Today is the first day of the community garden and I spent the afternoon planting my seedlings.   I raked out three 3 ft rows and planted tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, squash, cucumber, leeks, parsley, basil, cilantro, marigold, eggplant, dill, spinach and kohlrabi seedlings.   I also planted some Mesculan seed.   I have carrot, bean, lettuce, and beet seeds to plant tomorrow and the remaining seedlings of onions, basil, and parsley.

Here are before and after pictures of my plot.
